When I was a little girl, I used to teach "flying lessons" to the girls in my cul-de-sac. We'd leap off of my backyard swing set and, with the imagination of children, truly believed we could fly. All was well until my next-door neighbor sprained her ankle. Our parents intervened and flying lessons were no more.
This story is a metaphor for what happens to many of us in life. We have big dreams and hopes for our lives and for the world, but then life happens, and we begin playing smaller and safer at the expense of our true dreams and aspirations.
Coaching is about reclaiming our greatest desires for our lives, ourselves, and the world. It's about taking intentional action to live out our greatest possibilities and purpose. I have always felt called to ignite the light in others, so that we can all be like sparklers on the 4th of July. This is my intention for you as coach: to help you cultivate your greatest strengths, define how you want to use them, and then to make incredible things happen.
As your coach, I won't ask you to jump off of any swing sets, but I promise to challenge you and hold you to your highest hopes and intentions so that you, too, can fly.
Working with Kristi was incredibly motivating for me. She helped me to identify the challenges I was having in progressing my small business, and
helped me to make a plan to advance past these challenges. Speaking with her was comfortable and fun, and I loved that she helped me choose which steps I wanted to take when making changes. Her approach is sincere, and when working with Kristi, I felt that she really did care about my progress and success.
